Meet Andrew T. Moshman, DMD

Dr. Andrew Moshman received his undergraduate degree in Spanish from Tufts University. He went on to obtain his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, followed by two years of general practice residency with a focus on advanced training in cosmetic, restorative and implant dentistry

After several years in private practice, Dr. Moshman discovered a passion for endodontics as it allowed him to perform precision dental procedures while simultaneously relieving patients’ pain and allowing them to save their teeth. This led him to complete a two-year Advanced Education Program in Endodontics from New York University College of Dentistry. He has published articles in Compendium Dental Journal, the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and the New York State Dental Journal. Dr. Moshman has performed research, lectured and published on the topic of 3D printing in dentistry.

Dr. Moshman has a flair for teaching and sharing his knowledge. He served as an assistant adjunct professor for NYC College of Technology’s Dental Hygiene program, where he lectured on Dental Materials and was a clinical attending. He was also an Adjunct Clinical Instructor of Endodontics during his endodontic residency and continues teach part-time at NYU.

Dr. Moshman enjoys combining his passions for Spanish language and dentistry by helping Spanish-speaking patients receive appropriate dental care. Dr. Moshman has been active in the Hispanic Dental Association since 2006, through which he has participated in local community outreach to underserved communities in Boston and New York City, as well as joined a dental mission trip to the Dominican Republic.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Moshman has followed a family tradition of dentistry set by his father and grandfather, and he prides himself in living up to their high standards. In his spare time, Dr. Moshman enjoys travel, reading fantasy novels, barbequing outside on sunny weekends, and going for walks with his wife, Margaret, and their dog, Nellie. Dr. Moshman is delighted to join the team at Aibel Endodontics.
